Omicron Pi Alpha aims to provide a positive and True Greek contribution to the Boston, and more specifically Boston University, Community. Our core mission is to provide an alternative to the poor traditions and hazing that have become common place in “Greek Life” and to encourage change in other fraternities to hold themselves to a higher and more respectable standard. In addition to this, OPA does and has committed itself to numerous amounts of community service, from helping out in the Greek Orthodox Soup Kitchens to cleaning up the Esplanade to collecting hundreds of canned food items for Boston Food Bank to helping raising $10,000 to fund research in combatting Ebola. The members of OPA are committed to True Greek traditions that serve a purpose and inspire progress and growth.
